Our Story
For nearly two decades, We've been running explidata.com, a service provider for market research. We've transcribed countless audio interviews, categorized them, and entered them into databases so researchers can retrieve all answers to their questions with a single click.
The Problem
With the rise of AI tools like Whisper, we wanted to automate this process. But our research revealed a shocking truth:
Almost all transcription providers use AI servers in the USA – meaning sensitive interview content is automatically transferred to third countries.
A dealbreaker for GDPR-compliant market research.
The Solution
Since we couldn't send data to the US ourselves, we had to create an alternative. explicare was born: A transcription service that runs exclusively on European servers – with AI models that never leave the EU.
We use European AI technology (like Mistral) and our own servers in Germany and France. Your data is never transferred to the USA or any other third country. Never. Not at any point.
